The annual celebration of Banned Books Week (September 21-27) focuses on censorship in comic books this year. Captured Aural Phantasy Theater, The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund and The Los Angeles Public Library will commemorate this week in LA with a special FREE performance of our show "Tales from the Comic Book Crack Down." In it, we bring the April 1954 US Senate hearings that attacked comic books to life with performances of the actual Senate transcripts and a few of the stories that the Senators deemed as a "bad influence" on children plus live music, effects, art and more!

A limited number of free educational materials produced by the The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund will be available on a first come - first served basis.

Download this flier for more info and how to make a FREE reservation!

COME OUT AND SEE US!!!

We've been getting rave reviews for our shows!

Listen HERE to Captured Aural Phantasy Theater's interview on Darkest Radio and to a radio performance of one of our famous stories!

We thank the Los Angeles Public Library and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund for their support in bringing you this show!
