Following its wildly popular, sold-out performances in March, Park Avenue Produce is back with its new Captured Aural Phantasy Theater show Teen Angst A-Go-GO! Those awkward adolescent years are the theme of Teen Angst A-Go-GO! a show that examines hormone-raging puberty through the lens of mid-century pop culture, namely comic books! Captured Aural Phantasy Theater is a LIVE retro-influenced variety show built around radio show-style readings of real mid-century comic book stories. The evening also includes stunning visual art, short multi-media acts, prizes, and live music from our house band!

Captured Aural Phantasy Theater’s Teen Angst A-Go-GO! invites the audience to walk down memory lane and remember a time in your life when – NOBODY understood you! Through vintage pop touchstones, be amazed at how teens are still struggling with the same issues - love, music and their (secret) identities. Mods vs. Surfers! Superhero vs. Sorority Sister! The tempest of being a teenager is laid bare. OMG!

Park Avenue Produce is thrilled to have landed in LA, bringing its patented Captured Aural Phantasy Theater to the West Coast after nearly 30 years of performing in Chicago! Started in 1979 by childhood friends Ben Ziola and Wes Bailey, Park Avenue Produce is dedicated to producing high-quality live, filmed and recorded entertainment. We especially are excited to participate in the ongoing reinvigoration of Downtown Los Angeles by bringing LIVE entertainment to the historic Alexandria Hotel, the site of many Hollywood legends, including the founding of United Artists in our performing space, the Palm Court ballroom.

LA Downtown News "Don't Miss" List!

MTV APPROVED!

If you missed A Phantastic Valentine's Day Love Spectacular or the Hooray For Hollywood Extravaganza, here's what our SUPERFANS had to say:

My friend bought tickets for us to see your show... our great surprise it was entertaining, witty, creative and fun.

My favorite piece was the My Funny Valentine. It began with such melodramatically sad singing in that large reverberating space and the general uplighting – completely surreal. Then the contrast with the fake trumpeting was hilarious.

The 'mending a broken heart' was very clever.

Hope to go there again sometime.

It was a unique and fun evening. Not knowing what to expect, we went with open minds and really enjoyed the energy of this group. In addition to the dramatic readings (which are really good)there were other acts (unique and entertaining).
